AT A GLANCE

TASTING NOTES
This Pommard 1er Cru "Les Rugiens" shows a great deep red color with purple hues. Very intense nose (raspberry, peony, tobacco). Mouth is very open and with solid texture, yet not harsh. Velvety tanins are very finely mixed with the oak, bringing a lovely texture and complexity. A deep wine that will age beautifully with the years.

WINE & FOOD PAIRING
The strong character of this masculine wine in this excellent vintage will make it ideal with red meats, big game and ripe or full-flavoured cheeses.

SERVICE
Serve between 15 and 17°C. Cellar for 10 years or more, but can also be enjoyed in its prime with typical fruit character.
